Groups
Support groups and group therapy can be a more affordable therapy option for some folks and there are clearly demonstrated benefits that come with being in a group setting versus individual therapy. Having people who have gone through similar experiences to talk to, to share ideas and support, can make challenging situations much more tolerable in the moment. Group members can learn from one another and also be in the supportive role themselves. And sometimes support groups are fun! We have a range of options for queer and trans folks.
Yoga Therapy
What is yoga therapy? It’s a type of therapy that uses physical yoga postures, meditation, breathing techniques, and relaxation exercises, to improve mental and physical well-being. It’s used in both individual sessions and small group formats. Yoga therapy can be used as a supplement to talk therapy or at times, as a standalone form of therapy. You can benefit from yoga therapy without any prior yoga experience and regardless of age, ability, size, strength, etc. Sessions are tailored to your specific needs and goals.
Relationship and Couples Therapy
Relationships add meaning and connection to our lives, but let’s be real: they’re hard sometimes. We each bring our own past experiences, trauma histories, beliefs about love, attachment styles, and astrological signs into the mix.
