INCLUSIVE THERAPY IN BALTIMORE

Gender Identity and Transgender Therapy
You can be true to yourself and express who you are! It really is possible to experience moments of contentment and joy. Allow yourself to believe that you can learn to better manage gender dysphoria and feel freer as you move through the world.

Relationship and Couples Therapy
Relationships add meaning and connection to our lives, but let’s be real: they’re hard sometimes. We each bring our own past experiences, trauma histories, beliefs about love, attachment styles, and astrological signs into the mix.

Trauma Recovery and EMDR Therapy
You may be affected still by deeply upsetting experiences (trauma) that happened a long time ago without realizing it. You may wonder why sometimes you react so strongly to certain things that happen. The good news is that you can heal.

Healing in Activism and Creating Change
Many of our clients foster their resilience through activism and creating social change. Your trauma deserves time and attention so that you can continue your work as an activist and maintain healthy relationships with community members. We believe in our spirits’ bend towards healing.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Therapy
Deaf individuals’ lives can be shaped in different ways by their identity and experiences. Whether you are Deaf with hearing parents, hearing with Deaf parents, from a long line of Deaf ancestors, new to signing, or have a cochlear implant, we’re here to support you in your therapy goals.

Kink Affirming and Sex Positive Therapy
Healthy and fun sexual experiences can be an important part of an adult’s life and we want to support you in fostering those experiences in yours. Our kink informed therapists can help you assess the health of your relationships. We can provide information and resources on play parties, education, and mentors.

LGBTQ+ Therapy
We all have struggles, worries, stressors, and problems at times. You don’t want to have to educate your therapist about your identity when you come for therapy. Consider your sexuality or gender identity in a space where you’re not only accepted, but understood.

Telehealth Therapy
Do you need support, but can’t make it to an in-person appointment? Don’t have the time to drive across town for an appointment, or maybe you prefer to just do things virtually? We can help you through virtual therapy, or telehealth.

Immigration Evaluations
Immigration is challenging regardless of the reasons for immigrating or mixture of emotions someone may feel in coming to a new country. We offer clinical interview and assessments to produce the best evidence to support your petition.

Groups
Support groups and group therapy can be a more affordable therapy option for some folks and there are clearly demonstrated benefits that come with being in a group setting versus individual therapy. Having people who have gone through similar experiences to talk to, to share ideas and support, can make challenging situations much more tolerable in the moment. Group members can learn from one another and also be in the supportive role themselves. And sometimes support groups are fun! We have a range of options for queer and trans folks.

PATIENT TESTIMONIALS
Thanks for letting me borrow books, listening to my story, and sometimes kindly telling me when I might be a little bit wrong.
After working with you, I’m as confident in my gender as it’s possible to be.
I appreciated that you held me accountable for showing up in my organizing and being creative. I also loved your sense of humor!
